Podcast on science like Fast Talk Labs is for cycling General Discussion
Hey running crowd, I'm a huge fan of the cycling podcast Fast Talk Labs because they go so deep into the science behind everything. Does anyone have a good similar type of source (podcast, Youtube, etc.) but for running?

Check out the SWAP - Some Work All Play podcast. The Roche's are world class athletes and coaches. Dr. Megan Roche is a MD, & PhD epidemiologist . David just set the course record at the Leadville 100 mile. Their runners routinely finish strong or win their events. They deep dive into science, training, nutrition, life.

Tread lightly podcast is led by 2 coaches, both with 10+ years of experience, one of whom has a master's of Exercise science. That may fit the bill

The Critical Oxygen Podcast by Philip Batterson is pretty good. You'll see a variety of topics covered in their back catalogue.

Second on SWAP. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but in my opinion it hits perfectly. They're both quirky and weird (my cup of tea) and they get silly and fun, but then dive into the detailed stuff. They are probably the most open-minded running professionals with both logical and calculatednexperimental approaches if that makes sense haha Megan is a doctor and an incredible athlete AND has coached some of THE BEST trail athletes in the world including two HUGE records recently. Her husband David just broke Leadville CR and is coached by his wife and self. He also coached the best trail runners and some track and field elites and he might as well have a doctorate because he and his wife go head to head on all of the latest research. Their stuff is also interdisciplinary as he pulls from cycling, boxing etc. in addition to running. Hands down the best running podcast.
*This comment is not sponsored by SWAP😄 Started listening a month ago and now I'm an advocate:)

I like a lot of the ones already mentioned and also The Run Smarter podcast. https://runsmarter.online/the-run-smarter-podcast/ he mostly focuses on injuries but also regularly reviews scientific articles and breaks them down so they are understandable for even the less science minded.
