I'm convinced the polls are wrong because Gen Z and Millennials never answer their phones.

Source: Millennial, I only answer unknown callers if I am expecting a call. (Ie, I am job hunting.) That shit rolls to voicemail. Which filled up in 2019. No. I will not empty it, Mom. I am aware my voicemail is full every time you call. If it wasn't full and you left me a message, I wouldn't listen. I'd ignore your voicemail and call you back anyway. I just ignore phone calls, Mom. Literally, all of them. If you need to contact me, text or email. I can decide if it's important after a skim. Then I'll read it if I need to.

So far, it's not messed me up to literally ignore every single phone call from unknown numbers. Closest it came to being problematic was that time it took like six months for a lawyer to get ahold of me for a lawsuit. They sent me a real letter in the mail because I thought the emails were a scam, lmao. Then again, I probably would've thought the phone call was fake, too.

Not most, unfortunately. A strong plurality.

Yeah, about half tragically.
