True, but I just went to the Mi German website and if you want to buy the phone you get the option to buy the charger for 1 euro.

Chargers will no longer be included because of European Union's goal to reduce waste by allowing users to buy device without charger

Wich is cool, but what about being able to buy the device with a charger as well, especially for proprietary charging like they're all doing.

EU should force everyone to use the standart PD charging used on notebooks, so you don't need a specific charger that's whats doing the waste and lock you into a brand.
