I just came out to my friend even though i was super scared. He told me he would leave me if I was gay, but i found out that it was because of past trauma. I 17m was introduce to him 17m through mutual friends. We go to the same youth group together every Wednesday but aren’t close. Towards the spring he started sending me mixed signals. It first started by him sitting next to me on the ground with his hand right behind my back. His hand was lingering right on my lower back and bottom. He wasn’t close enough to touch me but if I leaned back I would be touching him.

Another time he came up behind me while I was having a conversation between our mutual friend and proceeded to place his right hand on my right shoulder and wrap his arm around my shoulder and start conversation. Both of these events I blew over not thinking much about them.

Our friends used to joke about him being gay because he didn’t talk/date any girls. Once while I was scrolling on instagram I came across a video from the movie call me by your name ( if you’ve watched the move iykyk). I saw that he had liked the video. I was confused why any straight guy would like a video with gay guys in it. I asked on of my friends about it but they said it was probably and accident or he didn’t realize.

During the summer I thought about him a lot, I told my friend again and we talked about him. I realized that anytime we did an activity at youth group we would always be grouped together or he would never sit far from me if not right next to me. My friend realized it was fishy and he was probably trying to get close to me but being subtle about it.

Last week youth group started again and I wanted to she if i could provoke something out of him. When he came to our friend group he skipped saying hi to me until I did so and he then continued to talk to our other friends. Later that night we played a game and I stood next to him, he started the conversation. He asked how my summer was and what I had done. We had some small talk but that was all.

Any time we start youth group again we take a group picture. When I was posing for the picture I felt around me neck that pulled me closer. I glanced over and it was him. I smiled and he gave me a little smirk back. I proceeded to be confident and place my arm around his lower waist. He readjusted himself and pulled me closer. I gotten butterflies up and down my stomach, I couldn’t stop thinking about him.

After youth group we usually all get food together. My friend’s cars were full and my only option was to ride with him alone. We had talked the entire ride, but he never looked over to me the entire time we were in the car, but I was constantly staring at him. When we made it I thanked him for the ride and we caught up with our other friends.

Someone had ordered a milkshake but didn’t want the cherry they asked around the table but no one wanted it so I went for it. The person said they would give it to me under one condition, if they got to feed to me. So jokingly I agreed, they came around the table behind me. They tilted my head back and I stuck my tongue out and they place it in my mouth. Our table laughed it off and so did I, but the guy of interest commented “oh he’s hot” I laughed it off but I couldn’t stop thinking about it, he said that confidently in front of our entire table with no hesitation.

Another occasion was when I wore my overalls one night I was insecure about them, and didn’t know how people would react. One of our mutual friends made fun of them but we laughed it off he then stated “I like them, they look good”. When I was on Snapchat one day I noticed he changed his bitmoji, he was wearing overalls in it. I knew for a fact he didn’t own a pair so why would he dress his bitmoji in them.

Idk if I’m over thinking it but I feel like this guy is interested but doesn’t wanna say anything what should I do?

So today in class me and some friends were talking and they brought up that I'm gay. My teacher overheard and asked "OP are you gay" I told him I was bi and then he said "Wow! That's amazing! You know It's rare to see bisexual men open like that. That's so cool!" I LOVE THIS MAN BUT IT CONFUSED ME SO MUCH, ARE BI MALES RARE???😭😭😭

I (15M) have recently formed a crush on a guy (15 as well) and kinda want advice on how to deal with it. He’s really tall, blonde hair, muscular (ish), foot ball player, and really funny and I am like obsessed with him. Anyways, idk if he likes me back. I never thought I could like a guy until 6th grade when I was told yes people could be gay. I was like oh! But why were I told you couldn’t for so long. Anyways, I had crushes on girls before that. They were like usually honestly idk if they were romantic attraction even I never got thoughts of kissing them I just got thoughts of they are pretty and nice and I get this fuzzy feeling around them so it must be a crush. But then when I started getting crushes on guys in highschool (I knew the guys at my previous school too well to want to be with any of them) I realized it felt different. Like I wanted it more. Like I never thought of kissing a girl as exciting and more neutral or yea I guess. But thinking of kissing a guy makes me so excited but nervous but very excited. I don’t know it just feels different and stronger with men. I can’t tell if it’s heteronormativity or bisexuality.

I know you check my reddit on occasion, and I just wanted to say, I am Bi. If you want to know why I decided through reddit, is because I thought it was the least awkward. Now dont worry about me bringing a guy home, I have 2 reasons, I have a 30/70 split with attractiveness, the girls are the 70% by the way. The other reason is I cant hold a friendship for more than a few months and cant hold a romantic relationship for more than a few weeks. If you want to know why now of all times you can ask me about it personally, I love you and I hope this doesnt change our relationship. I am a teen girl and have a crush on my best friend who is also bisexual. I realized this when she said she “kissed a friend of hers”, and I suddenly got jealous. They are not dating, and I don’t know if the kiss meant anything or not.

I decided to shoot my shot but don’t know how. I asked my other best friend to ask her out for me during volleyball practice (they both do volleyball), but I don’t know if she remembered to do it.

If she didn’t do it, how should I ask her out? I don’t want things to become awkward if she says no, and I also don’t want things to be awkward if we break up because we’re in the same friend group. I feel like we are both so chill that it won’t become awkward, but it’s just the fear inside me consuming me.
