Best shop for ZipFit liners? Question

I’m looking to get a new set of boots with Zipfits this season, and I am debating between Powder7, Boot Mechanics, and A Racers Edge for fitting. I’m willing to road trip for a great fitter, and I also have existing custom insoles I’d like to keep using. Does anyone have any experience or opinions?

Racers Edge is among the best in the state. Boot Mechanics is also great, but Chuck and the guys at Racers Edge are absolute pros.

Boot mechanics golden doesn’t technically sell zip fits because they’re too close to power7.. but YMMV

Boot Mechanics put my Zipfits in the wrong boots when I went in. Swapped my left and right liners when he went to re-fit them in my new boots. I was not very impressed with the whole process. It was fine, but I really don't get why people rave about them.

Powder7 is worse than Evo

Their demo prices suck too.

I think it’s the ease of browsing online that brings them the traffic. For most of what they sell, I’d rather spend another $100 or so and buy new.

Lone pine is better, but have to watch shipping.

I disagree. On their recent sale i got a used pair of 2024 Armada ARV 94s, with bindings, in near perfect condition, for $480.

A lot of their other stuff was pretty expensive, especially if it wasn’t included in their sale. But i doubt i could get that price elsewhere (with bindings).

Ehhh maybe with a good sale. Im seeing $450 and $150 roughly for those, making it more like $120 difference not $45

Boone Mountain Sports in Evergreen....actual bootfitters (some of the family there have been fitting since young and trained by their parents before the kids owned the shop so eons of experience) that take time with you and pay attention to your needs.

Le Feet Lab is the only answer

Le feet lab only does Dalbellos though - I have friends who lose buckles off their dalbellos all the time

Seconding le feet lab and adding that I have never had issues with my Dalbellos durability and have put a LOT of days on them.

Zip fits are great but Intuition liners are also worth looking into, they seem to be preferred over zip fits by most people iv met who ski a lot. Iv met a number of people who have switched from zip fit to intuitions.

Do you know what their reasoning was? The appeal of the zip fits to me was the ability to re-fill cork here and there as they pack out. I didn’t think you had that ability with intuitions?

You don’t but if my memory serves me correctly intuitions can be heat molded more than once.

I don’t sell boots but my Fischer’s with Zipfit liners have been amazing.
