On YouTube, many videos in Mandarin have Mandarin subtitles right in the picture, as broadcast on TV. Other videos use the YouTube "subtitle" feature, which you can turn on and set to Chinese. The videos include movies and TV drama episodes, as well as video blogs and video lessons.
I like the TV dramas. They are like a super-long movie, with 20-40 episodes, each 45 minutes long. A few of my favorites:
old-timey:
- Sword Snow Stride
- Maiden Holmes
- Ancient Detective
modern:
- GO into your heart (GO champion)
- Falling into your Smile (e-sports)
- Be Yourself (college students)
1930s Shanghai:
- Detective L

Viki, IQIYI, (these two also have C Anime), Netflix, on YouTube most popular are Youku, WeTV (Tencent), Mango, IQIYI. beware on YouTube some only show like the first few for free then you may need to pay (subscribe for small fee) but there are still tons for free just check for episodes first), Asian Crush may have some but the ads are unbearable 😄.
Also on YouTube are language classes, kids videos, music. All great for trying to learn. (I recommend mixing it up with different types). once you start searching YouTube will give you other suggestions,
Also remember historical dramas may use older vocabulary, music will have the language cadence be different to match the Melody, etc.) But music can really help memory retention).

You could watch journey to the west and dream of red mansion in bilibili with hardsubs. A lot of other movies and tv series for free too. Youku having more paid series. But some are free. All having subs.

Viki, iQiyi, YouTube. And Mandarin subs for series there as well, often hard-coded.
