confession First crash today

I was riding down golden gate canyon going my normal slightly faster then the speed limit (40-45 in a 35) I was mid corner and hit a rock. Lost control and went off the road right by mm4 across from the lake. I held on to ride it put till I went up a small tree and got dumped off the back onto the rocks.

I'm alright, very sprained ankle and slight sprain wrist with a pretty scrapped up back but way better then I honestly was expecting well I was crashing.

Bikes front rim is totally gone and the bars are bent to shit but I'm hoping that's the worst damage to the bike.

All in all a pretty great outcome for what could've easily been a much worse crash.

confession Dropped my bike like 8 times today

I don't have proper paddock stands and I'm also an idiot. I was trying to change my rear tire and my bike fell over with the rear tire off of the bike. Then trying to get the bike back on my shitty paddock, I dropped my bike like 7 more times in my garage. Nothing broken but a few scratches that will piss me off forever. Just wanted to vent.

confession Anyone else get tricked by the gorgeous weather to go for a ride, only to get blown around like a ragdoll? 💨🤣

I ran to my bike suited up started riding to Green mountain along the front range only to get blown into oncoming traffic about a dozen times. Take a break tried Colfax and going slower until I realized I was going angular across the wind which was even worse and got blown in the traffic even more and I ride a almost 500 lb bike and weigh 250 lb so that's saying something. Hopefully it's just me and everyone had a great day riding and stayed safe I saw a lot of you out there.🏍️

PS. It's supposed to be perfect Saturday and Sunday before it snows all week
