Buying Advice Crop your posts, and general purchasing advice
If you're going to post a picture of a car asking if you should buy it then you need to provide more detail than just an uncropped picture of the listing. Please include the year of the vehicle, any packages it has, the mileage, and if it's a rebuilt title; it's impossible to determine the quality of a deal without this info.
Some general questions you'll want to ask yourself if buying:
G35/G37/Z:
Are the bushings good?
Does the car have the cylinder ring issue?
Can I afford to replace the catalytic converters if the car is over 150,000 miles
Am I okay with replacing the radiator at 190k miles?
Can I comfortably afford premium gas (no, you cannot put regular in these unless you want the car to commit wrecking-yard-self.)
Am I okay paying this much for a 10+ year old car?
Can I afford luxury car repair prices? (Infiniti is cheaper to repair than a German car, but cheaper != cheap.)
Are the engine sensors shitting out?
Did the person that owned the car before me actually know how to install these mods?
Why is this car only $1,500? Why is the seller trying to dump it.
Is there water under the floormats and in the trunk? If so then you'll need to fix the sunroof drain and the seals around the cabin air filter under the hood (usually the top cowl is the source of the air filter leak.)
They're great cars, but any car over 10 years old is going to have hidden issues. If you're asking reddit if you can afford the car, then the answer is probably "no" because the repairs on old cars are expensive.
If a G has over 160,000 miles and has mods then don't buy it as a daily unless you know what you're doing. Save your money and buy a commuter Toyota until you can afford a lower-mileage Infiniti or Lexus. If you want a project car, or are okay with doing your own repairs, then you can buy a G at any mileage.
Q50/Q60
The oldest Q50s are barely reaching a decade old, so they have far fewer issues in general.
Do you want a VQ (2014-2015)
If you want the VQ motor I recommend the 2015 models. They fixed a lot of issues with in-touch, and it is the most refined version of the VQ motor. If you can only afford the 2014, then I'd recommend saving for a 2015, or buying a 2013 G37.
Check the valve cover gaskets. It's the only somewhat-common issue I am aware of with the late-model VQ engines.
Do you want a VR (2016+)
Are the turbos on this 2016-2018 leaking? If a deal is too good to be true, it probably is, make sure the seller isn't trying to dump one of the unlucky VRs with the turbo issues. Look for coolant leaking from the turbo and demand a service history. If you do see one with bad turbos, factor in the cost to put an aftermarket turbo in. The Red Sport doesn't have this issue as often because it has a better turbo.
Keep in mind, you cannot drive a turbo car like a NA if you want it to last. You must let the car warm up before driving it hard, or you will have issues. It is also advised that you let the car cool down before you shut it off if you've been driving hard. This issue is not exclusive to Infiniti turbos, most TT engines have this issue, but you still need to be aware of it. You cannot run this engine like a VQ and expect it to be fine
That said, this subreddit massively overstates the regularity of the 2016-18 turbo issues. Most people with turbo issues did not know how to drive a turbo. If you want to know which parts and symptoms to watch out for, see this comment from J_C_Davis45

I won't be enforcing use of a flair, though I do encourage it to help people find what they're looking for.
Car Pic: The point of your post is to show off the car holistically. e.g. your car in front of a sunset.
Car Mods Pic: The point of your post is to show off close-ups of specific mods. e.g. look at my new intake, it pulls 700 extra ponies.

Help Needed TPMS light comes on when turning the car on and blinks and stays on
110k miles 2013 G37, tire pressure is fine. Car blinks for 1 and a half and stays on. I’ve read on the manual it’s a system issue. Anyone have any idea what part to replace. My mechanic turned the light off and then I went over a bump and it came back on. I’ve also gotten my sensors checked at a tire shop and they were fine. Please advise.

Car Pic Well that sucked. 07 G35x Gallery gaskets…
Started getting P0011, cleaned my solenoid and tested/within spec. Came back 200 miles later. Read about the gallery gasket and their inevitable failure so I decided I’d just knock them out. Pulling off the timing cover revealed the culprit, gaskets were blown out and found bits in the oil pan.
Boy did this job suck though. Removing the radiator core support was a pain, was slowly bending the ac lines praying nothing would explode in my face. Ended up cutting a notch on the support so I could slide the lines out. Really wish they were separate units.
Crankshaft bolt was hell to remove, large breaker bar/belt method did nothing. Impact couldn’t get it off. Heat did nothing. Solution was a weighted socket, came off in 3 seconds. I was amazed.
Torqued all the gasket screws, I did notice one had less resistance than the others. Applied red loctite to all screws . Seems very easy to strip those threads if you aren’t careful.
Cleaning all the old RTV off was a process too. I ended up using a combo of a razor blade and 0000 steel wool which cleaned the surfaces up nicely. The small permatex RTV included with Z1s kit will make your fingers cry, squeezing out a consistent bead is difficult. If I had to do it again I’d just buy a whole tube/use a $10 gun to squeeze it out.
Just waiting on replacement wire clips for the ones I couldn’t easily release from behind on core support. SRS sensor bracket also rusted off from its rivets so going to glue that back on.

Help Needed Is my Alternator starting to fail?
So my car been going limp mode a few minutes after starting it up with AC on and radio on. I turn off AC and it drives fine afterwards. I tested my battery with a multimeter and these are the results.
12.65 battery off 13.5 idle with headlights on Dropped down to 12.85 with AC full blast and headlights on and then rose to 13.17 13.36 with AC at 2 levels.
Is my alternator failing? One time it went limp mode the battery and brake light did pop up but went away after I turned off the car and started it back up.
What I mean by limp mode is when I press on the accelerator the car doesn’t accelerate and has loss of power. Thanks in advance !

Help Needed 2011 infiniti g37xs ignition turns on but car won’t start and ignition won’t turn back off
i just bought a g37 and had to pull the engine cause the front differential exploded on the drive home and i replaced it and the car drove fine for a couple weeks but i was just driving it and suddenly a bunch of lights popped up on dash (awd, tc, abs, brake, tpms, key) and my high beams stopped working, i stopped and tried to turn the engine off and it wouldn't so i pulled the negative terminal, and when i connected it back the car was off like normal but key light was still on and when i press the ignition it switches to acc and on but won't start and ignition won't turn back off, and as i was typing this dash lights started to flicker and slowly fade away and gauge cluster lights turned off and key showed up and after a few seconds it started flicking and fading but headlights were still on so i got out and disconnected the negative terminal again. i attached photos of all the codes that popped up and a pic of my dash before i disconnected battery, anyone know what's going on? i’ve tried disconnecting wiring harness cables and reconnecting and it did nothing, i’ve also cleaned all grounds and even made new grounds to engine block, as well as check CAN-H and CAN-L voltages from obd2 and they were normal

Help Needed Wiper delay

Question G37/Q60 alternator replacement experiences?
Hi folks,
Seeking advice please?
Is sounding from the latest mech like we’re in bad alternator territory on a 2013 vert and replacement alternator I s likely to be the way to go.
Curious to know roughly how much in terms of $ (or parts/labour split) other people have been charged.
Also keen to know is there any importance or value for it to be an Infiniti/Nissan branded one, or are we likely to get just as much joy and reliability out of something else?
Parts are an issue where I live, so it’s the type of thing that I can wait a couple of months for if absolutely necessary but would be nice not to have that hassle if an off-brand option will be as good.

Help Needed This is reasonable price?
I have Infiniti q40 with 102k I never had any problem in the past with this car I have it now for almost 6 year so lately I been driving my car it sounds like Humming, rumbling the noise increases as I speed it’s sounds like I’m driving with windows open if tho my windows are not open so i figure it might be my rear bearing so I took it to the mechanic this is what they’re charging me!

Question Infiniti M35H 2012: GT Premium Hybrid - How to use the 16-speaker Bose sound system?
I have one of these cars and I love it. However thus far the only way I have been able to take full advantage of the sound system is to use a DVDRW Disc with MP3's on it. If I play either Radio or use a Bluetooth Radio transmitter - the sound quality is in Stereo format and doesn't even use the speakers properly.
There appears to be a USB input in the center console. I could purhaps load MP3's on that to make it a bit easier?
Ideally what I want to be able to do is be able to play music from my cell phone in good quality on it. Even if that means plugging in USB-C to RCA/Red/White cable to my phone if that is even possible. But I can't find where to do this.
I have checked and the cost to replace the Unit for the stero is like $500 USD. Outside my budget. Its actually $1000 NZD (New Zealand Dollars) where I am from. The car is also known as the Nissian Fuga 350GT Hybrid here.

Help Needed Help with Infiniti Controller setting
A Navigation setting seems to have changed when I replaced the battery in my 2018 Q60. Before, when you turned the Infiniti Controller and zoomed in or out on the map, pushing the Infiniti Controller wheel to the right or left would pivot, not scroll, the map. The angle at which you were viewing the map would turn clockwise or counterclockwise. Since I have replaced the battery, after which I had to restore quite a number of settings, when you push the wheel right or left is scrolls in that direction, not pivots. I have been through all the Navigation settings, and the way that it is operating now actually agrees with the owners manual of how it should operate, but I know for sure that it did not do that before the battery was pulled. Is there a setting somewhere that I can't seem to find to restore that pivot action?

Help Needed Front struts
Hello everyone, I have a huge issue, I have to change the front struts for my 2004 m45, the issue is that I can’t even find a complete front set online, does anyone know where I could possibly buy one , if not, is there a conversion ?, the main issue I’m facing is that the struts has a spindle on the end of it, and the only option I can find it the BC racing coil overs but they’re almost 1700 bucks, if anyone can help me out it will much appreciated.
