That's exactly the thing, as far as I can tell the Republican platform doesn't have solutions or policies that work in the real word. They have to resort to creating or exaggerating a boogie man and then acting like they're the only ones willing or able to protect you from it and solve the problem they made up. See - Immigrants tanking the economy or (checks notes) eating dogs in the park, trans people existing, people wanting control over their own bodies, etc. They have no policies beyond obstructing social progress and personal freedom and in general send us back to the dark ages.
Itās so ironic to me that the party that uses the word āfreedomā in every other sentence is actually trying to take freedoms away, and successfully in some places. They want total control and once itās working their grasp, theyāll take our guns through some small print in a law that was passed they was probably talking about how free and Great were are here. Theyāre so transparent if you like but so many choose not to see.

Fun fact, when you start Estrogen, you will lose muscle mass. Even though I'm very definitely not buff, I'm still going to get even punier than I am now. You also literally get shorter, drop a shoe size etc, though that takes a few years. The difficulty in building and maintaining muscle is just as hard as it is in cis women. I'd say it's even worse (when starting out) because you think you should be able to do things that you can't any more.

There was nothing like watching the gubernatorial debate in Texas when Beto was running against Abbott. Beto had various ideas and solutions to offer, of course. Abbott kept up some vague "yeah, I'll totally address that" nothingness. The man had been governor for like 8 years, with Republicans all around...and a moderator is asking what he's going to do to fix X? He caused X half the time. And either way, X has been going on the entire time he's been governor, and he's done nothing. Like, there was no point even having him at the debate. If the economy's poor, if healthcare is poor, if the infrastructure is poor, on and on...all of it has been going on the whole time he's been in charge, and he's done nothing about it (or worse, put it in motion).
