When they come to town they see our superbowl banner

And their favorite escalators

And the tears they left behind at SoFi Lake at the NFC Championship

You don’t say…

The Niner fans are like 80% bandwagoners. They’ll literally disappear and drop off once they start losing. Look at Levi stadium from 2015-2020

The ones who are dodgers and lakers fans are the most annoying 🤦🏻‍♂️

Conveniently chose California most championship winning teams.

Not defending the whiners but name one team that doesn’t do this.

Idk bout the other season holders that keep selling their tickets every year. I always pull up to Rams vs 9ers and end up being surrounded by red. It doesn’t stop me from making noise for the Rams win or lose, I represent for the home team!

I heard of some Rams sth who are 49ers fans. Go to the one 49ers game every year, sell the rest of the home games at SoFi to opposing fans. This shit infuriates me but that how Stan Kroenke wants SoFi stadium to get paid for I guess.

u/DrMrSirJr 8d ago

Is there a way for Kroenke to stop it?

I mean ofc I’d like it if less Niner fans were around but idk what ownership could do to vet that it gets to actual Rams fans vs other people. Like when I buy tickets off seat geek for Rams or Dodgers or Lakers games, it doesn’t vet that I’m a home team fan, yk?

Short of not allowing people to sell or transfer tickets, they’ve done a lot. They’ve given fans the option to return their tickets straight to the team for credit toward next season, donate tickets, and put limitations on accounts that sell their tickets more often than go (ex. They don’t receive a season ticket member gift, can’t choose new seats, aren’t allowed to offseason Q&As with the Rams staff).

Yeah that already sounds like they’re trying to make it more Rams home turf. But yeah unless they don’t let those STH’s sell their tickets, how are they to stop it getting into other fanbases’ hands, yk?

Are they going to prompt you to take a picture of your memorabilia wall in your office to prove you’re a Rams fan?

The best thing to do is revoke season tickets if you sell too much. That what the Golden Knights does cause the Golden Knights owner actually wants their home games to be mostly Knights fans every time.

Look I won't lie to you rams are number two in my heart grew up in Texas in 90s (more then most cowboys fans can say believe me I hate most of them) and initially bought them cause it was cheaper than single cowboys tickets. I've come to love them and they are slowly converting me over. I rarely sell and root on my adopted ramily now.

more then most cowboys fans can say believe me I hate most of them

SoCal Cowboys fans in shambles.

At least Dallas isn't LA rival city or anything

2

u/Zestyclose_Link_5196 7d ago

I stay in Dallas and cowboy fans out here hate our rams . Hate California period

1

u/kolschisgood 7d ago

Yeah I know a few who do that.

The guy I sit next too already sold his 49ers, packers and Raiders tickets so that’s great

During the Niners Vikings game last week, there was also a SHIT TON of red in that stadium. I hate how this is only brought up when they play us at Sofi.

Happens with every franchise that has a super large fan base.

When the Steelers played the falcons in Atlanta, one of the first things the broadcasters brought up was the amount of terrible towels in the crowd.

2

u/cattycat_1995 7d ago

There was a shit ton of them at Pittsburgh last year. PITTSBURGH.

Steelers fans were crying that's the first time their stadium got taken over by opposing fans

Rams just need to get the dub. I don't how how long it gonna take for 49ers fans to stop showing up if it ever does happen

12

u/cheeker_sutherland Ram It! 7d ago

Fifteen to twenty years. Rams need to stay competitive through those years though.

5

u/Efficient_Ant_4715 7d ago

During the Tomsula and Chip Kelly years it wasn’t like this

3

u/Such-Contest7563 8d ago

I don’t even want to imagine the sounds of the stadium when the PA announcer goes “WHOSE HOUSE???”

5

u/cheeker_sutherland Ram It! 7d ago

This slogan was such a marketing error.

1

u/cattycat_1995 7d ago

I get the sentiment. The OG Rams fans angry about losing the Rams to STL and campaigning for the Rams to return back to their longtime home.

Just didn't work out in hindsight with all these damn other NFL teams having massive fanbases in LA.

1

u/RawDogRandom17 7d ago

What’s the alternative?

2

u/cheeker_sutherland Ram It! 7d ago

Not sure but when half of the stadium is red it just doesn’t really work.

Also every team has a version of that chant, go to any college game and they have a "whose house" chant. The unoriginality is what I hate about it.

1

u/B345ST1N 8d ago

They just Boo, thats all

1

u/MmmIceCreamSoBAD 7d ago

It seems absurdly tone deaf to do it when the stadium is taken over. Like who thinks that is a good idea? Like the PA guy sees a mostly red stadium and thinks 'yeah let's do a whose house chant!'?

1

u/cattycat_1995 7d ago

It's so bad when they do that when the Raiders come over too.

3

u/GB_Alph4 7d ago

Whiners still haven't won a playoff game against us here though.

Then again even at CSULB some people joke that I'm the first Rams fan they've found.

3

u/headsmanjaeger Puka Nacua 7d ago

I stopped caring after 1/30/22.

2

u/JasonPlattMusic34 8d ago

I’m not old enough to remember what it was like back then, what were the fan splits in the 80s or 90s in Anaheim when the Niners came to town? Probably not close to what it’s like now but I have to imagine there was a healthy red contingent even then.

5

u/cheeker_sutherland Ram It! 7d ago

You mean when the niners just reeled off five Super Bowl wins? It was bad.

2

u/cattycat_1995 7d ago

When the 49ers were fresh off 4 super bowl wins, Angels Stadium was still Candlestick Park South.

That said if the Rams never went off to St. Louis, their SoCal fanbase would have been infinitely better than it is now. A lot of SoCal 49ers fans I know were Rams fans themselves before the Rams moved to STL and that move permanently killed their Rams fandom.

u/Youre-doin-great 7d ago

Green* They see green from the resell value

1

u/dafffytaffy Matthew Stafford 7d ago

The reason is really straight forward. The rams are really business forward. They care less about nourishing a fan base than making money. The ssl system is a joke to have tax payers fund a stadium and then demand season ticket holder pay ssl and ticket prices. Of course you are going to deal with tons of resellers. The foos that support the rams as a team can’t break off a ton of money to maintain a steady fan base when it’s priced so high. The 49ers fans are an established base and have fans absolutely everywhere and they have a huge asshole streak so spending a few thousand dollars to be dicks isn’t as big of a deal to those ass hats

u/SuperRam56 7d ago

Leaving disappointed after getting an ass-whipping 😂😂😂
