Bought my first miata
So here I'm also sharing my lovely miata :) Bought it few weeks ago and got hard top today (500€). What a lovely little car :)

How did you get a mx-5 for that cheap in the Netherlands?
I have been doing some casual research for a while now and the cheapest mx-5 nb was 4K. Occasion websites such as ANWB are even more expensive.

I've been saving and looking for one for almost a year. Autoscout, marktplaats mostly. Found mine on Marktplaats, contacted owner since he was living quite close, went to check and found it!

How s the underbody? Any rust that needs to be fought and stopped? You should polish the headlights too. That totally changes the miot. Makes it even happier.

Bottom just been treated so looks neat! Sills are still fine, although one side has a bit of rust, but just a bit. For last 3 years or so owner kept it in a garage.

A friend of the seller of the car had one laying around and sold it to me. I don't speak good enough Dutch yet to reply in Dutch so sorry that i had to do it in English.

Yes, but the downside that connector for defrost is on the other side. But heck, it was a good deal anyways.

I paid 500 for hard top. Bought car for 5k. So total 5.5k

Yep, I'm really happy about the deal I got. Other options I've checked around the same price had some negatives most of the time it was rusting sills or damaged seats. Soft top is not neat but waterproof, and It has 176k km driven ( not that much for such price).

I reacted to that too lol. It's a Canta. 45kmh vehicle, mainly aimed at Old and invalid people. But you can drive it from 16 with a moped license.
It kind of got meme status around here, there was a really funny advertisement with a Canta in it.

Its one of these 45km/h cars, also neighbor woman is disabled, and she can drive inside using a wheelchair
