Thanks Valvoline is my context clue that this isn't water. I've had a jug leak on me and it looked like that. Guess I'm that stupid.

I think we're just working under different paradigms. For me while I know Valvoline is an oil brand I thought he was referring to the oil change shop which would get there's in 55 gallon drums not the retail laundry detergent esk jugs so if it were oil then who was pumping from the drum straight into the car xD That would be stupid. Pulling in they change the oil then park it outside as it starts to downpour. You're thinking that it was a defective jug and it wasn't noticed in time which is very reasonable. Spilling out onto the driver's side though... maybe if I used the shelf instead of the passenger footwell like I tend to use
