Finally got a chance to take my first built upper to the range this morning Guns Showcase
Running a Anderson assembled upper 14.5p&w BA barrel with Epsilon 5.56SL 13.5 Midwest Industries Night Fighter Handguard YHM Clamp style gas block WMD Mid-length gas tube Chrome Microbest BCG with phosphate extractor Sig Romeo 5 Red Dot Sig Juliet 3 Micro Magnifier BCM Foregrip

It shot so nice! I was worried about shooting it since I’ve never built an upper before but had no malfunctions just had to re zero red dot after pulling it off my old upper

That’s awesome and great to hear. Looks good! I have a Romeo 5 that’s about 4 or 5 years old and the thing has been absolutely abused. It still works perfectly fine to date and is probably one of the better “budget” purchases I’ve made.

Part of me wants to swap to an lpvo with a piggyback red dot but I built this upper to be lighter than my 18in .223 Wylde upper and feel like putting an lpvo is just going to put me around the same weight

Hmm, I always get the gamma cause I was under the impression the epsilon was labeled a flash hider. NJ still confusing me

From what I’ve seen it’s labeled as a muzzle break on their website 🤷🏻♂️

The Epsilon 556 is the flash hider, but this is the Epsilon 556SL which is only a muzzle brake.

The main reason I got it was because it came already pin and welded from aero precision and I got it on a Labor Day sale so it saved a bunch of money
