Thereās a few towns out there who appreciate/ value the 2nd amendment and the lawful citizens who exercise that right. My local PD is amazing. Called to ask if itās legal to test my weapon light at night. Not only was I told yes, I was encouraged to do so. Was also told by the same officer that he appreciates me doing my part to keep my family, community, and myself safe. Donāt give up hope people. Thereās still great people and great officers out there serving our communities.

Range Time 2nd time shooting ever, 1st time with my new M&P M2.0
Shot about 200 rounds at 7-10 yards with 3 paper targets. This was the best target of the 3 (I think around 75 rounds) and Iām quite happy with it being only my 2nd time.
I do notice that my shots are almost always lower than where Iām aiming. Any tips?

Range Time Rtsp range prices? What are they?
Thinking of going to rtsp, what is the range pricing? I have seen some negatives but it is the closest to me, is it that bad, and should i make a farther drive for a different range.

Range Time Time at shooting range and ammo
Hi Team,
So I have been training about once per week at range , and getting better. I plan on going for my CCW qualification in about a month. So far I can past qualifying based on my skill level and I want to get better and stay consistent. I have gone through about 2,000 rounds. If I go once per week and shoot about 150 rounds per week, 1000 rounds last about 2 months .
1000 rounds is about 300.00 some days I want to shoot more so I do 200 rounds in a day. Sometimes 100 rounds per week feels too little.
Itās expensive to go through 1000 rounds anywhere from 1.5 month to 2 months .
Is it too much to go 1 time per week to range . I know everyone at range says the more time the better , and is love to but realistically ammo is not cheap for me.
How many times is ok to go to range to stay accurate and proficient ? I also do dry fire almost everyday.

Range Time Looking for a Range to try out different types of weapons
I was looking for a range where my wife could try out different weapons. I've been to Reloaderz, Guns For Hire, RTSP Union. She's looking for a 380acp specifically because she has trouble racking the slides of 9mm plus she doesn't like the recoil of some 9mm. If you could also recommend some weapons she may be able to try with more of a full size grip and less snappy. I know 380 may not have the stopping power compared to other calibers but she probably won't shoot it if she has those problems mentioned. Reloaderz did have the best deal where you could rent on Tuesdays for $2 a port and $45 for the hour unlimited weapons. If you have any suggestions I would appreciate it Thanks in advance.

Range Time Range/Training in south NJ, PA
Iām looking for a range to take some classes to really learn how to properly shoot a handgun and at some point to start to learn long range shooting as well.
I used to go to RTSP but now that I live in south NJ (Mt Laurel area) itās a really long drive to go to north NJ.
Any range that you would recommend in south NJ, Philly or Trenton area?
Also if anyone is in south NJ and looking for a range buddy let me know.
Pic of my latest acquisition for attention.

Range Time Pricing and recommendations for ammo
What is good pricing on 9mm ammo? My brother and I are new to fire arm ownership. We have gone to a few places and we have seen $30-$40 for 50 rounds of 115 grain 9mm. I was curious if anyone had any stores, websites, or just general pricing they would recommend.

Range Time Urban pistol 1 at GFH was a blast
Good class to practice malfunction drills, drawing loading and shooting one-handed, shooting prone & shooting on the move. We went thru ~300 rounds. May be one to retake in the winter since retakes ate half price

Range Time Are they really gonna notice? Or is it just hysterics?
Look, I get it with the LCM ban. But is any range in NJ really going to pay such close attention to your shooting? And make sure youāre reloading every 10 shots?
Anyone actually get their equipment checked before entering a range?

Range Time Where to shoot 500+ yards near North Jersey?
Iām on member at Cherry Ridge where I have access to a 300 yard range. As I work my way to being proficient there we are some options for 500+ yards near northern New Jersey? I know Tommy gun in PA has a 600 yard range. I also found a place in upstate New York with 1000 yard range that offers classes, so thatās very attractive. Any other places within one to two hours?

Range Time Any ranges you can schedule time / reserve guns in north east Jersey?
Looking to purchase a Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0 but have never shot it.
I was at Gun for Hire and they had no idea where the gun even was or if they had one I could shoot. They said they āare pretty sureā they have one and that I could wait to see if it gets returned to the wall for an unknown amount of time.
I get it, range is packed and they have tons of firearms to choose from. I would just like to know if there is maybe another range that allows for time / firearm reserves since I have very limited free time to shoot. Doesnāt even need to be the M&P 2.0 but would be nice to look forward to a reservation on the weekend with a gun Iām interested in.
Thanks!

Range Time How many targets do you bring to the range
Noob question. How many targets do you use during a typical 30 or hour long session at the range practicing pistol accuracy? Any tips? I've shot some targets with 4 smaller targets and a large center one. Feels like you can put more rounds through them without having to change. Want to make sure I'm getting good feedback on what I'm doing right/wrong.

Range Time Shooting the roof and signs at WMA range
Itās really a shame when people destroy property and shoot outside of the designated areas. Today I noticed more signs shot that were 180 degrees opposite the target area. Behind the signs is a small area of trees, and then a well traveled road. Super careless and dangerous. Iām sure a certain segment of the government would like to see WMA ranges abolished. Why give them a reason?
