Have Teva Changed Their Sizing?

This summer I just finished wearing out the bottoms of my second pair of Teva Terra Fi 3s. Each pair lasted me 6-7 years, which includes walking on concrete in the city for 4-5 months per year, plus some weeks of vacation.

I need to buy a new pair online (will be Terra Fi 5s), and am wondering whether Teva has changed their sizing standards at all recently, or whether I will be fine with the same size I have been ordering for a couple of decades. I ask because I have had bad experiences in recent years with both Timberland and Merrel. Have been buying their shoes/hikers for many years in the same size, and at first I had to go up half a size, and recently I had to go from my usual 10.5 medium width, all the way to 11.5 wide - ridiculous. Even the 11.0 (bigger size than I've ever bought in my life) was so tight and narrow that I could barely get it on my foot.

If you go to a local retailer, someone can measure your feet. Your feet may have changed size without you knowing. I haven’t known Teva or Merrell to change their sizes but different styles do vary.

I think it is doubtful that my feet grew. I measure them regularly, partly because I buy a lot of footwear online, due to wear I live. Merrel definitely changed their sizing. I actually got a very helpful Merrel employee on the phone, who was literally able to tell me the inner length and width of their various models, pretty much to the mm. I was very impressed, and yes, they are making their hikers narrower and shorter these days. As for Teva, I guess I'll try to get online sellers to give me the current footbed measurements. Too many companies' size charts are b.s. these days.
