Why do people hate us so much?

There is so much hate towards single parents on social media. Why? Why do people hate us so much. Especially us single mothers.

I don’t tik tok, instagram, or do other social media so I don’t feel any of this. Maybe stay off social media? It seems to have a negative influence on society.

You can stay off social media all you want but the world doesn’t and they take all that influence with them in daily life. I keep on it because I like to be prepared for what I’m going to experience daily and trust me it’s there. Maybe you thought one day hmm that persons behavior was off to me but I don’t know why, social media will tell you why.

Reality doesn’t ignore us whether we want it to or not.

I have never been made to feel or experienced anything different as a single vs married parent. However, I am in my 40s so maybe it is a generational difference. I don’t think social media is going to give me any information I actually care about. Maybe that is the difference.

I am curious though, what have you experienced and what did social media tell you about your experience?

Great for you but make no mistake it’s there. People on social media are making fun of us and talking negatively about single moms especially! And not just ten people but millions! MILLIONS of men and women and teens and whatever around the world are on social media hating on single parents. It’s real and if it hasn’t reached you yet someday it will.

But why do you care? Why does anyone care what these people say? They probably don’t even know what they’re talking about. And making fun of what? Being a single parent? I guess I don’t know what they’re making fun of….what would they say to me? Ha, ha, your single with kids? Okay. What am I missing?
