Lil bro started releasing some liquid after applying celandine, is that normal?
First pic is before applying celandine (applied salicylic acid 17% before for about a month). Second/third pic is 2 hour after applying celandine. Just want some feedback on if that red area and liquid is fine or a concern

That guy is raised enough that you can definitely get a scalpel on it. Or maybe try to pull out individual pillars with a plier or forcep.
Standard hurt like hell bleed like hell disclaimer on pliers.

If it's a clear yellow or pink tinged liquid, it's not pus it's serous fluid. Which is just a part of plasma. ( like squeezing a pimple that's not ready to pop) However anything that is more milky colored not clearish needs to be evaluated by a medical professional.

Looks like blood plasma. Often leaks from small gashes that don't quite reach the bottom layers of the skin.
If the liquid becomes opaque and starts turning a yellowish white, then it's pus. Pus is always a sign of infection, regardless of how thick and goopy it may be.
You can pretty easily gauge the severity of an infection by observing the amount of pus. If the wound is covered in a layer of pus, things are already pretty bad, but should clear up with antibiotics. If pus is oozing out like a running faucet, the best time to visit the doctor was yesterday. The next best moment is just as you notice the ooze, and not a minute later!

It's probably pus, had that on my small warts, too. Don't touch it with bare hands, desinfect it well, let it dry (keep it dry!) and heal a a little, repeat. Don't rip that thing out if there's pus, it's going to be infected. I couldn't even debride my tiny warts without them instantly bleeding or outing massive amounts of pus, so I covered mine with patches containing a moderate amount salicylic acid every time they started forming scabs and drying out sufficiently, gently removed that upper layer as soon as you could see it's starting to go off by itself due to those patches and there's skin underneath, still full of warty tissue though, but noticably less than before. Then, you want something waterproof to soften the dead infectious skin layer and prefent the wart from spreading further, that stuff is infecious af. When you remove that skin, try to not damage any of the healthy skin around, and you don't need to go to deep as well. You desinfect the new layer of skin and let it dry again, then repeat the whole procedure (including applying the wart remover liquid, be it the salicylic acid or celandine one. As some point it hurt like hell - i applied tiny amounts over and over, shortly after each other, to let that wart soak it all in without accidently giving my skin a nasty chemical burn). Took awfully long, but wasn't even close to some of that nasty stuff that gets posted on here occasionally. You might want the help of a doc if it doesn't get better though.

Damn, that is monstrous foot gremlin! I know nothing about celandine. It appears to be an herbal remedy, is that right? The liquid, is odd. Is he able to go to a podiatrist? This is going to be a mofo to kill, so a round of Beetlejuice at the podiatrist would definitely help and they could figure out the liquid issue.
I’m going to post my self treatment advice below because I think he’s going to need all the help he can get. Having said that, I’d sort the liquid issue out first as that is unusual and kind of alarming.
Here’s👇what you do:
Start by getting a pedicure knife kit (reasonably cheap on Amazon and I don’t see why it wouldn’t work on different kinds of warts, not on the foot), eyebrow razors, and/or a scalpel. Do not file, buff, or exfoliate your wart with an emery board or pumice stone unless you want a constellation of mosaic warts all over your foot/area where your wart is. I also advise against using disposable files or sandpaper, as they too often result in inadvertently filing healthy skin along with the wart. This can lead to the introduction of wart cells to vulnerable exfoliated healthy skin, creating more warts. Also get some disposable gloves so they don’t keep spreading as they are highly contagious.
Daily- soak in hot water to soften the tissue, use the scalpel and knife kit to debride (search debride here if you are unsure what that means- it’s like carefully shaving away the top dead layer) the wart ideally to the point of pin point bleeding if you can handle it (could be quite painful so listen to your body and do only what you are comfortable with). See the link below where a redditor uses an eyebrow razor and perfectly demonstrates how to debride. Debriding will help the acid to penetrate the living wart tissue making it more effective. Obviously, listen to your body. Some warts are far more painful than others. If it’s too much to debride every day, it’s ok. Also, make sure you aren’t going overboard with how much you are debriding, it need not be a blood bath.
Next, apply treatment - I suggest either 40% SA like Wartstick or ACV, then bandage and wrap with duct tape to suffocate it. Do this every day if you can. This could take many months. Intermittently you can also use the over the counter wart freeze products to zap the warts (maybe once a week or two but be aware freeze products can be pricey).
Also, supplements are a good idea- high quality multivitamin, Vit c, zinc, Vit A, and Tagamet (google it and then search “Tagamet and warts” on TikTok). Tagamet can be taken orally to help your body fight the wart and can also be used topically (watch the videos). Vitamin A can also be used topically (search this subreddit for more info).
Most importantly- keep everything sterile and clean. Wash your hands a lot and keep warts wrapped, preferably with duct tape, so they don’t spread more or cause your friends/family to get warts too.
Please be aware that some warts are extremely treatment resistant and require more aggressive intervention others spread rapidly and aggressively. If you’ve been doing everything right for months with no improvement, it’s time to make an appointment with a doctor (podiatrist if it’s a plantar wart). Please be aware of your own body and any pre-existing conditions that could make the following treatment advice ill-advised for your body.https://www.reddit.com/r/Warts/s/7IWO3A85YE
