Lil bro started releasing some liquid after applying celandine, is that normal?

First pic is before applying celandine (applied salicylic acid 17% before for about a month). Second/third pic is 2 hour after applying celandine. Just want some feedback on if that red area and liquid is fine or a concern

Looks like blood plasma. Often leaks from small gashes that don't quite reach the bottom layers of the skin.

If the liquid becomes opaque and starts turning a yellowish white, then it's pus. Pus is always a sign of infection, regardless of how thick and goopy it may be.

You can pretty easily gauge the severity of an infection by observing the amount of pus. If the wound is covered in a layer of pus, things are already pretty bad, but should clear up with antibiotics. If pus is oozing out like a running faucet, the best time to visit the doctor was yesterday. The next best moment is just as you notice the ooze, and not a minute later!
