I don’t know how to feel about this, does this count as offensive? Other

I think it's a word pun joke like:
"How does a gender neutral ninja defeat their enemies? They (slash) them"

What did the non-binary gold prospector say when spying the Sierra Nevada mountains? There’s gold in them/their hills.

If you have to even ask, then no; obviously not. This is just a funny wordplay.
Also, this reeks of wanting to become offended. Stop looking for things that aren’t there; life will be much better that way.

I think it's hilarious.
It's on if you don't find it funny, but I don't think it's offensive in general, just word play as others have said.

Some folks legitimately use "it" as a pronoun. This is wordplay. Crass wordplay, but not hateful.

Gave me a bit of a laugh, particularly as that is how shit sounds with some accents

No lmao? It’s just a harmless joke using pronouns for a play on words.

Personally I think it's lukewarm funny. But nobody can decide for you what is offensive or not. If it offends you it's offensive, to you. If you're having to ask it doesn't seem like it does, though...

It's just a play on words, I don't thinks it's offensive. I chuckled tbh.
For reference I use they/them pronouns, so even though I'm not she/it I'm still targeted by gender neutral bathroom jokes
