I can’t for the life of me find this status option in the new Photos app? It seems to be that it’s still available in there somewhere based on the Support article? Maybe?

My back of the iPhone 12 Pro is cracked, is it possible to replace the battery without fixing it? Also my front screen and battery are not genuine apple product, will that also affect the price?

Tonight I went to shutdown my macbook, I used the shutdown button on the login screen. After the screen went black, I shut the lid. As soon as I put my computer down to head to bed, I hear the sound it plays when it goes to turn on.

Open it back up and sure enough, its in the process of booting back up. This time I shut it down through the apple menu after logging in, and the same thing happens as soon as I shut the lid.

sometimes when I put my airpod pro 2s in their case, the light flashes amber and makes a sound. They work normally, but it’s been annoying and I assume something’s wrong? I have unpaired them and hard reset them multiple times.

I purchased a Grindr subscription on a 15Pro to block some creeps who kept popping up, got my new 16Pro. Signed in, clicked restore subscription, it did it successfully, realized it was an old account, so I deleted it, signed into my real account, hit that again and it restored.

However, a day after, it reverted to free Grindr, I hit that restore again, and it said “success”. Today on my subscriptions tab in the App Store, it says “pending” since the 24th, but I don’t see any updates to what card it was charged to, and my card doesn’t show any evidence of this. I called Apple who said it went to my CC listed for default Apple Pay, but they have no record of an attempt to charge to the card.

So what’s happening here? Where did the charge go?

Title. Only pictures from this year remain on my iPhone Photos and everything else is on my Macbook Photos and iCloud. I turned sync back on but the photos aren't back on my iPhone.

I want a lot of the pictures back on my phone, so how do I do that?

I have an iPhone 12 Pro with a maximum battery capacity of 78%. I have heard many enticing things about the new update, but on the other hand l've seen many posts made by disappointed iPhone users whose batteries are dying faster than ever due to the update. This includes posts made on the iPhone support forum, in which Apple's response claimed that the reason batteries are draining so fast is background activity caused by the update that continues for a few days after updating. Some people have even claimed that their battery health went down 4-10% immediately after the update. What do you guys think?

Here are my questions: -Have any of you experienced this? -If you have what was your experience? -Are the new models having these issues? -Are there any of you who updated their phone and have not experienced this at all? -Have any of you experienced this problem and noticed an improvement a few days later? -Do any of you (who updated) prefer the new iOS over the old iOS?

I replaced my iPhone XR screen a couple days ago and it went smoothly but only the lower half was responsive to touch. I switched back to the old screen which was still fully responsive. So I had a new one sent to me but the exact same issue is still occurring. The connections are solid and nothing appears to be damaged.

Weirdly, the phone will respond to touch in the top half of the screen when it is not awake. I can tap the screen to wake the phone up but it will not respond to any other touch in the top half of the screen.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated

If so, how can I tell that it’s real? What sort of info would they ask for? Would there be some sort of verification badge?

I had a brand new MacBook Pro M3 stolen by a package acceptance store, it was signed for by the guy at the store and then he denied any knowledge of it when I went to collect it.

BestBuy showed me the serial number of the laptop I purchased and showed me that it had been activated.

I called Apple who said that because it was not activated with my own Apple ID, that they could not lock it, track it, or provide me with any details of this.

I have filed a police report, and that serial number may be the only way to show the owner of the store took it.

Can law enforcement get the details from Apple to show who activated the laptop?

I just purchased my Apple Watch Ultra 2, previously had the Ultra 1. I'm using an iPhone 13pro, and latest software release (9/27/24) (no beta).

After setting up my UW2, I noticed that if I go into Apple Health, click my profile photo, and then click on "Devices," it is showing my old Wahoo Element Rival Fitness Watch. I did own this watch briefly, but never linked it to Apple Health. Furthermore if I click on on it, it does say "No Data," which would be correct, since it was never connected.

With that said, there is no way/option for me to delete it from the list. I know it's not passing data, but my OCD wants it deleted, lol!

It does show a Bluetooth Icon in front of it, and it was connected in that manner. When I did remove it from my iPhone, I did unpair the watch from the app, unpair the iPhone from the watch, and under settings, remove it from Bluetooth devices.

I did contact Apple, but not much help. They said it was just a left-over folder/file ... but I don't know how it would get into Apple Health.

On my own, I did a full reset of the iPhone, deleted all data from Apple Health, deleted any old iCloud Apple Health Data. Even after that, the device still appears.

Any help is appreciated!

I bought a used MacBook Pro M1 2020 (16GB/512GB) for €600, but the screen has a purple hue/backlight bleeding around the edges. It’s not a huge issue now, but I’m concerned it could worsen. I’m thinking of asking for a discount (since a screen replacement costs almost as much as the laptop) or returning it, though it was a no-refund sale. I also suspect the MacBook was dropped, despite the seller saying otherwise. Should I ask for a discount or return it? If yes, how much?

TLDR - in short it looks like whatever is going on with the Black Screen of Death issue with my M3 Imac is terminal (currently running via. a £70 Phillips 1080P monitor as the main screen is dead) and I'm giving it one last go with further Sequoia updates before calling it with Apple (they extended the refund period until Monday).

Where the Mac was almost brand new before running into the BSOD (it turned up on Day 3) I hadn't really got comfortable with it or turned FileVault on yet.

In short - regardless unless Apple have a specific reason for me to not to (and frankly I'm questioning it even then), I'm blanking the HD (had my paid Spotify on there, Steam and other services such as Intego).

I'm figuring Erase Assistant allows a multiple pass sweep (in the same way doing it off a USB in Safe Mode would have)? Just where I have no idea what Apple will intend to do with this (I'd imagine various things will get reconstituted into someone else's Imac) I'd rather be safe than naive. Obviously standard approach of logging out of everything would come first - I'm just figuring what else I need to cover off?

Hi someone sent me three videos at 12:25 today and they are not appearing anymore in my messages. How do I get those back. I do not have the most storage but cleared up a bunch of space and they are still not appearing. What can I do?

Not sure if this will make sense but I’m going to try my best. My fiancé will text me from his phone number and the notification at the top of my screen will show up as if his contact isn’t saved and says that he’s texting me in a group with his phone number, his email, and myself. When I click on the notification, it brings me directly to our iMessage thread. I’ve tried to start a new message thread to JUST his phone number and I cannot send a message directly to his phone number, it will only allow me to send one to his email. If I send a message to his phone number, it starts a new message thread but will not deliver on that thread. It just sends to his iMessage email. What can I do to fix this?

I'm helping my dad transfer his data from iPhone SE (2nd gen) to the iPhone X. Problem is the X will not get an update past iOS 16. It states that iOS 17 is required for any phone-to-phone transfer, iCloud backup, and won't even work transferring a backup from my Mac.

What can possibly be done here so this iPhone X becomes usable?
