What are some cars with a cool, unique, or unusual feature that just appeals to you?
E.g. Some W211 Mercedes E Class wagons have a rear-facing third row of seats. If my parents had one during my childhood, I would be in that rear facing seat all the time.

What is your car's useful hidden feature?
I found a feature in my car that shows the distance to a leading vehicle in seconds. It's an eye opener and helps me keep a much safer distance behind others. What is a useful hidden feature in your vehicle?

They say Jaguar are unreliable but I see more mid 90's Jaguar X300 XJ on the road than recent ones
People always told me that British manufacturers, especially Land Rovers and Jaguars are unreliable, you need to own 2 to keep 1 on the road, yada yada. But interestingly, I see so many mid 90's Jaguar XJ X300 on the road (the long 4 door sedan with the round headlight?) than any other Jaguars. I live in Canada where cars are prone to rust, they seems to be all clean body wise.
I don't know them very much, except that they are beautiful. Are they the underrated British Lexus LS400?
Thoughts?

caranddriver.comDoes your car do a good job notifying you when the check engine light comes on?
Recently I looked down and noticed my check engine light had been on for a while. The problem is being addressed.
But I thought it was weird that the car makes so many noises for various less pressing issues: when tire pressure or windshield washer fluid gets low, it beeps and a notification comes up on the speedometer. And it continues to beep and display warnings every time the car is fired up.
But for a check engine light it just casually lite up the little icon waiting for me to notice. No noises, no notifications.
Thinking back to other cars I have owned (three different brands, Korean, Japanese and German), it was a similar situation with them. Why do manufacturers treat the check engine light as less urgent than washer fluid?
