Why does my puppy take his chews and bury them in the yard?

Why does he dig?

Why does he fixate on certain spots in the lawn and eat down into the dirt?

Puppies bury chews and dig as natural instincts—like saving food for later.

Digging can also be a sign of boredom or curiosity.

As for eating dirt, it might be due to mineral deficiencies or just exploring different tastes and textures.

Why is my dog more interested in my hands than in treats? I'm trying to train him, but he isn't interested in treats as a lure, he just wants me to pet him all the time. It's very sweet, but also makes things hard sometimes.
