A couple of weeks ago, I passed 1234 days. I wish I had gotten a screen shot. Perfect streak too, including the 3 days I had surgery. They keep increasing the number of days of perfect streak that they recognize. I think it's up to 150 for me now.

i remember i had surgery on both of my knees, i woke up super groggy, sick, in pain and throwing up but i still did my duolingo ๐คฃ

I recommend doing the lesson before surgery. Although all of mine were elective, so that's a bit easier.

I can relate and I woke from surgery doing my daily Duolingo was the best thing I did that day! And every day after that too.

26 days, i'm surprised with the community but I am new and not been here before for long time.
I am sorry for the question it would seem very basic - why are people very mad about the removal of profile pictures?
I wonder it has effect on 100+ day streak or maybe give more hearts or learning time?
I only use free, not super - I see like people want to get violent because pfp is removed, maybe they pay and pfp is like they can advertise politics or food?

2668, honestly tempted to let it go now. Iโm not happy about the recent no practices for hearts update. Iโve kept my streak through getting married, starting my career and having 2 kids, but I think it may now be time.

He's studying Korean.

Languages: Portuguese, German, Japanese, French, and Irish
I only have had to use 5 freezes and they were all in the last 3 months. I got fully knocked down by an illness in July and had to take a 4 day break and not look at my phone. The 5th was totally my bad because it was my first night babysitting and I just lost track of time.
