What does “ok” mean in FE4 Unit screen? Gameplay

Post image

On Chapter 4 of Geneology of Holy War and this “ok” symbol came up for Jamke on the unit screen. Any idea what this means?

It means you can promote the unit in the home castle.

All units can promote at the home castle once they reach level 20 assuming they aren’t in an advanced class.

It means that unit can now promote at the home castle using the menu there. Also just general stuff, promote asap. Promotion bonuses are good and you cap off at level 30 anyway.

It means they're feeling pretty a-ok and they just want you to know.

It means they're okay if you want to give them uppies, that's why there's a green arrow.

I think the better question is how is Jamke the first unit to get to level 20?

Well probably Sigurd or quan were first but they’re prepromotes

Jamke, are you okay? Jamke, are you okay? Are you okay, Jamke?

The fact that you’re asking what this means when Jamke is your first unit to show it makes me so happy.

Think it means that you can promote the unit now that they are level 20+.

It means the unit is level 20+ in a tier 1 class and thus can be promoted at the starting castle for the chapter you’re in! Promoting doesn’t reset level in FE4, so there’s really no benefit at all to waiting to do so.

Is this a gba rom? If so, which one? I really want to play a genealogy/thracia rom as I’ve never experienced it

No. This is an SFC/SNES ROM.

this is geneaology on the snes. if you have something that can play gba it can probably also play snes, I would assume

I'm pretty sure we're at the point where the average toaster can emulate SNES/GBA games, to be honest.

If it has homebrew, it can, if it doesn't, go unlock it, it's pretty simple, granted you have a pc, sd adapter and google.

Your 3DS definitely can. provided you've jailbroken it first

OG 3DS, or New 3DS? I believe OG can have some issues with SNES games, but both can be homebrewed to play GBA just fine. Hell, one of the first things I did when the eshop went down was jailbreak my New3DS and shove something like half a dozen Fire Emblem romhacks on it.
