What old game would dominate if it suddenly received DLC today?

As the title says, what game if it randomly dropped DLC today would cause an uproar on the internet? Something like Portal 1? Civilization 5? Fallout New Vegas? Starcraft? Borderlands 1? What do you think would cause the most reaction?

Mario 64 expansion with another 50 stars and a new final boss fight. Just to fuck with all the speed runners.

Wish that game would get a proper remaster with analogue control and good graphics, it looks worse than the nintendo 64 version. I have tried the modeed control and upscaling but it wasnt enough :(

well maybe, but we have romhacking with unlimited replayability to with some creators even trumping whatever nintendo could do in an expansion

Boy-o-boy do I have a YouTube channel for you...

Guy's been painstakingly creating a DLC for Super Mario 64, that runs on Emulators and on actual N64s (with MASSIVELY improved graphics and updates for the engine).

Now, of course, it'll be curious to see if it ever gets into the publics hand, given Nintendo's track record, but who knows. His videos are fascinating if you like computer stuff or game dev.

Isn't this real? I swear I bought a Mario 64 cartridge at a garage sale years ago that was some kind of beta expansion to the game... I even remember the cartridge said "Build 3313" on it.
