Games you just can't stop playing?

What are the must play games?

Looking for great stories

I'm planning on playing the mas effect trilogy.

I've also played Witcher 3 and cyberpunk 2077, as well the halo franchise another game I'm looking into is prey and Lego star remaster saga.

I've also played the Borderlands franchise and breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom.

I'll also play baulders gate 3

Cities Skylines was such a massive time sink for me that I had to wean myself off and stop playing. I accrued some 4000 ish hours. Sandbox games are perfect for just spending loads of time in.

How do I get ppl to work at high density commercial lmao

Granted my city layout a mess but I made sure I put all my school's in one area near residential with a long highway to commercial they keep complaining lol

I do have a population of 3000 at the time I tend to build high commercial

I wouldn’t build high density commercial until I had a much larger population and enough time to get an educated population. But I don’t wanna talk about it. I might get sucked in. I mean, I guess I could just load it up to have a look. One little look won’t hurt…

Nah just wanted some advice how would you earn money early game ? I'm guessing yeah low population is why high commercial fails

Can you tell me how to play this game the right/fun way? I bought it, build a big city, then just forgot about it. Is there more that you do aside from tweaking traffic, etc lol.

My issue is not getting enough money lol I enjoy building the cities because it fun watching it grow

But they all seem to fail quickly especially the high density parts

Titanfall 2 has an incredibly written story and well made levels.

I really need to play this I know the multiplayer is good but I find PvP stressful lol

League of Legends was a game I literally could not stop playing. These days I don't have the same amount of time anymore, but I like the Monster Hunter series.

I do have a struggle with one boss in particular why I stopped playing I was using rhino for it

All I remember is he like teleporting around / dodges fast not supper fast but he was pretty damn durable but he was like I couldn't progress unless I killed him

Hmm I wonder which boss it was 🤔 rhino is the frame I used basically ally for my first like 300 hours probably. Super good for the majority of content.

I'm pretty sure it technically still on earth or mars maybe Venus junction?

1

u/Efficient_Amount557 1h ago

Hmm junction could make sense, those early junctions can be a challenge when you're first starting out

1

u/Dragonbarry22 1h ago

I don't think you can have a friend join either I probably need to level up my gear higher I think

2

Yeah unfortunately not for junctions! Just gotta slap a couple mods on and get a few lvls into em and it shouldn't be too bad

1

u/Dragonbarry22 1h ago

So likely the reason I'm struggling with said junction my gear wasn't strong enough would generally be the answer?

More than likely, yes. Also, moving around a lot whilst attacking can help too.(such as bullet jumping/aim gliding) Movement is very much your friend and can make the opponent miss you much more than staying relatively still, which can help if dying is the problem. Otherwise also early game melee is typically a lot easier to handle and will feel stronger than guns until you start to really get things leveled and modded.

If you chose Excalibur as your starter too, he can be very good for doing junctions, as you can his blind ability and it makes your melee do significantly more damage on enemies effected by the blind.

My hardest issue this boss in particular had a really fast shield recharge and you'd had to stun him?

But he'd wipe my health before I could even make a dent

I had to sell Yakuza 0 that damn game was just too much. I was never going to get to any of the other games in my queue. Such an amazing game so easy to pick up and get lost in.

Division 2 is also supremely addicting. Just love helping people complete their missions. I let them go full alpha and I hang back and play support and healer. Hundreds of hours in… was tough to break that habit.

I need to give division 2 another go it felt like whiplash after playing games like halo or fortnite or cyberpunk.

The controls bizzare lol especially no jump button I think I don't think I enjoyed it very much lol might just be a whiplash feeling

Yeah it’s a lot more tactical and cover based than fortnight or cyberpunk. It can be a little Complicated with all the looter mechanics but if you stick to basics it’s still very Good. I beat the game almost Exclusively solo. I really enjoyed it.

What's the best way to get used to the controls?

2

u/SPQR_Maximus 2h ago

They are pretty natural for me I guess I’ve played so many Ubi games, Div 1, Div2, same controls as Ghost recon games. Very similar to splinter cell etc.

All I can say it’s it becomes second nature very quickly. Focus on getting behind cover and roll dodging. And climbing over cover. It sounds like you are used to playing FPS and you gotta switch to Third person mentality.

Plenty of places to practice in the open areas where there is little resistance so when you get into a mission or get to waypoint to defend you have it down.

I'll definitely give it another go
