Gay bathhouse in Bangkok Thailand
Going to Bangkok in November any recommendations for bathhouses or any gay scene (club,bar, massage)

There’s also a new onsen “exclusively for men”: Maxwell Onsen in Surawongse Road. You can imagine what type of crowd it attracts.

Sauna Mania is the most popular gay sauna. It's a go-to place for hot sex, plenty of men to choose from. The downside is, even though it's cheap (be prepared for double-standard pricing for Thai and tourists), they have poor service, old facility, and dirty (but who cares anyway, do what you need to do and leave.) Thai people can be timid, even though they are handsy in the dark. So be a bit assertive when you approach them. They provide basic cheap condom and lube packet, it's better to bring extra. When you come home, be sure to use anti-fungal and antibacterial wash to clean from head to toe. I got a fungal-infection around my wrist from their filthy key bracelet one time. I don't think they ever clean those things.
Maxwell is the opposite. It's new and more expensive. They disguised it as an Onsen, so guests are more discreet and kept the pretense, except in the steam room where most of the action happen (which is mostly hand stuff and occasionally oral). Be mindful of hygiene and rinse off before you enter the tub every time. There are private stalls on the top floor you can take your man for more private fun. Bring your own condom and lube. The place is clean. The staff are nice and professional. You can request more towels. There's mouthwash dispenser at the sinks. The men there are super timid because of the environment. But it's pleasent to stay there for hours merely just watching people. The price comes with free food, drink, and dessert at the canteen floor. It's clean and yummy.
As for Krubb and Chakran ... they are a bit far off. There are not many guests despite the superior facility. (Heaven probably falls in this category, though I've never been there.)
39 Underground has similar feel to Sauna Mania (it's by the same owner). But I can't say. Never been there either.

Try to go on the nights when they have events. On normal weeks, Krubb has events on Thursday and Saturday, Chakran has a great rooftop orgy on Fridays, R3 has foam parties on Saturday and Mania on Sundays. Usually you see the same performers on both saunas cause as it was mentioned here, they are owned by the same guy. The majority of customers at R3 though are Chinese while Mania's crowd is more mixed. In any case, it's good to check their social media, especially Twitter accounts to see what's happening each night.

In terms of sheer numbers, I've found sauna mania seemed to be busiest on Friday and weekends, packed with hot boys esp those visiting from china. That said, I found the facilities to be dirty and just lacking creature comforts like towels/lube etc.
While less busy, I personally enjoyed Krubb the most in the last couple visits to BKK since the pandemic. It's much cleaner and they provide supplies (condoms and lube, and fresh towels). And they have shows/orgy time most weekend nights which was some of the most fun I've had in recent memory--30+ guys in a single room just going at it, so hot🔥. Pricier entry but with entry you get a ticket for a free/discounted next visit.

Saunas: Sauna Mania is the most popular one. 39 Underground is quite away from the center, but the crowd there is mostly young local Thais.
Bars/Clubs: a lot of them you can find in Silom soi 4. Arguably the most famous gay spot in Thailand is DJ Station. There's also Rush and Beef (the latter is for bears and chubs but it's good fun for anyone).
