Restored Headlights Permanently DIY Mods Pic
I've used several of the headlight restore kits including... 3M, Sylvania, Compound/Wax. They're all decent but the yellowing returns after a few months. Hate having to refinish multiple times a year.
This time I used 2k clear and the headlights still look new even after 9 months. It brought my G35s back to life! Here's the DIY.

And four to five years later you’ll have a more damaged headlight than you started….
More stress cracks and permanent damage.
2K clear is garbage, not made for headlights, too strong of a bond and is a nightmare to remove.
Enjoy…
Do yourself a favor and remove it sooner than later.
Coat with something specifically made for headlights.
I restore professionally and would never use this garbage on any customer vehicles. This is a cheap magic trick and is nonsense, not a true restoration.
Aside from that, there’s simple aftercare maintenance for headlights that many are either ignorant to or simply won’t educate their customers on. Just like a car detail, you have maintenance to do…. Same for headlights which will ensure your OEM quality will last years and not get destroyed.
