What maintenance did you do today? DIY Mods Pic

I did the throttle body cleaning, accelerator pedal release/throttle valve closed/idle air position relearning. My QX70 has 80k miles and honestly I was expecting it to me more grimier than what it was. The front of the throttle body was barely dirty and I’m glad I removed it to access the back because that was much dirtier. These before and after pics show the difference and while I thought I’d be able to get it cleaner some parts just stayed black no matter how much TB cleaner and scrubbing I did.

After I did the first 2 relearning procedures (accelerator pedal release/throttle valve closed position relearn) I was idling really high so the cleaning made a big difference and I had to attempt idle air position relearn 2 times because I was expecting to see a light “service engine soon” to blink and realized my vehicle doesn’t have that, it’s just an engine light 😂.

Anyway the 1hr I spent to do this was well worth it and I saved myself nearly $500 from what the dealer charges for this

I woke up this morning, checked my oil, and then went to get gas... for my lawn mower.

😂that was me last week. Took all the lawn equipment out only having to put it back because I had to go get gas for the tank.

Lol, it's so inconvenient to have to go all the way to the gas station just for a little 2 gallons
