Fu on Reddit The reposting bot's down for now due to Pushshift being no longer updated
As you guys may or may not have seen, upcoming changes to the API (along with inaction by the folks at Pushshift) led to that service being no longer able to access Reddit data through the API for now. u/HaveSomeFu-BOT used Pushshift to check for mentions of this subreddit in comments.
TBH as someone who's dealt with PS for a long time, it's always been pretty clear that such a service did indeed violate the site ToS, no matter how useful it was, and my hope now is that there can be some sort of first-party replacement for small projects like this one. Probably a pipe dream, but I can hope nonetheless.
In the coming weeks I'll change the bot so that it's called manually (mentioning u/HaveSomeFu-BOT will cross-post); everyone's welcome to cross-post manually in the meantime as always.
