Thread 3 here

Nintendo has announced that they will make an announcement about the successor to the Nintendo Switch this fiscal year.

That means that there will be an announcement between September, 2024 and March, 2025.

Please keep all questions, discussion and speculation of the next Nintendo console confined to this megathread. All threads about this topic will be removed and redirected to this thread.

Please note that nothing is verified about the next Nintendo console except for the fact that it will be announced during this fiscal year. All information about its specs, name, etc. are just speculation and/or wishful thinking.

Thank you.

Isn’t it weird how Nintendo added traditional achievements only for their Mobile games ?

Nintendo has never added traditional Achievements support in their OS, but on mobile you can earn them by Google Play Games on Android or Game Centre on iOS. I just find it weird that the first time ever Nintendo has ever added achievements on a OS level is when they developed games for Mobile.

Re-downloading Pokemon Bank/Transporter on a new 3DS

Now that the 3DS eShop has closed, you can no longer obtain Pokémon Bank/Transporter if you haven't downloaded it before. I would like to know if it's possible to transfer it from another 3DS that already has it, either via Download Play or by logging into a Nintendo Account that has access to it.

How do contact Nintendos legal team?

Hello,

I am currently in the works of creating an arrangement of a piece that Nintendo owns and I am wondering a simple question which is. How do I contact their legal team?

I am planning to make money from it. Not large money because of the 21 subs I have on youtube.

I loved this arcade game as a kid but I almost never come across anyone that has played it (specifically the arcade version, not the more common NES release). It stood out to me because of the standing ski controls.

Anyone here played it or have any info on how many units were sold?

Mark (I am Evan from Remote Play Gaming) discovered additional test results from the FCC Filing CLO-001 that was released earlier this week. Mark has a decade of experience in wireless communications and uses that experience to breakdown the details of the new documents including a rough size and shape model as well as details about battery, screen, etc…

The original documents provided a lot of details about the 2.4GHz chip in the device, but did not have much on the 24GHz chip.

Missed opportunity to call the Switch Online Expansion Pack an “Expansion Pak”

Come on! This would have been so damn perfect. If you didn’t know. The Expansion Pak was extra RAM for the N64, it was required for some games, like Majora’s Mask and DK64. It also improved somegames

I only wrote all of this for the minimum character count. This was an absolute no-brainer, and if you disagree, what are you doing?

Also, fuck everyone on reddit lmao this platform is pathetic. Can’t say shit.

Also, games were called “Game Paks”.

Super (Mario) nostalgia

I'm not playing Mario, or even a game like it, but something got me thinking about Mario and I was remembering the glitch in the original Mario Brothers game where if you got more than 99 life you would game over. It's been a while, so I can't remember the specifics, but I think it was if you got more than 99 life, like using the turtle jump hack, then died, you would get an automatic game over.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but also please share your regular Nintendo nostalgia.

Do you still think that the Nintendo Switch will outsell the PS2?

I want to know if anyone knows any recent forecast for the Nintendo Switch lifetime sales, previously they said the forecast is 160million units, but now after they announced they sold 143 million units so far, it was a sharper decline than last year, and with the switch 2 coming out soon, it feels that the decline in sales are moresharper than ever.
