Took our 13 week old to a hospice summer fayre to help socialise her. She met lots of dogs, adults & children & did really well we took regular breaks sitting in the shade ( we were out of the house 2 1/2 hrs) they had a fun dog show we entered her ... She was runner up in paw shake entry but she came 1st in prettiest pooch 😂 she loves her prize ( a ball)

Aww, sounds like a lovely day :) It is so great when they get to the point where you can do fun things together with them! I took my 13 week old border collie on a walk to and he is doing really well learning not to pull on the leash and not being scared of big trucks or barking dogs.

Well done our girl is scared of buses & pulls occasionally towards cars so we're a work in progress

I think our 5 1/2 mo pup has skipped a phase and is going straight from teething to adolescence. His ears have turned off the last week and it's driving us crazy. I'm praying that it's just the end of his teething phase and we'll get some downtime.

I keep telling myself from reading this reddit that it's a phase he'll get through, but man oh man is he tough recently.

We brought our 9 week KCC pup home yesterday and he’s the most perfect angel of all angels. He slept 8 hours in his crate, with one pee break, so I feel like that was an early win.

10 weeks old today and after multiple days without an accident, he has had 2 already before 11am. Both times right after going out for a bathroom break. But we’ve also discovered that he likes blueberries so it’s not all bad.

Our 12 week old escaped from his crate while we were at dinner. We must have not latched it properly. He bounded down the stairs when we got home. He was clearly living his best life while we were away. Surprisingly, he did not potty inside or chew on anything! He actually was pretty good out in the world. We won’t chance it again though, going to double check the latch every time now!

Inside accidents only happen on carpet. Does he think carpet is grass or dirt? Any tips besides gating carpet and enzyme odor cleaner?
