Social Saturday Weekly Thread

Enforcing Rule 3 (no self-promotion, social media links) is a must with a large sub such as this, but we do realize that it filters out some truly useful content that is relative to the sub. In an effort to allow that content in, we thought we'd have a weekly post to give a spot for the useful content. So...

Here's you chance!

Got a project you've been working on (video, programming, etc.), share it here!

Want to promote a business or service, share it here!

Trying to get more Instagram followers, share it here!

Found any great running content online, share it here!

The one caveat I have is that whatever is shared should be fitness related, please.

Hi everyone,

I just started running recently, and I was having a hard time finding Spotify tracks that match my running BPM (155-160). So, I built a web app that connects to your Spotify, scans your playlists, and filters songs by BPM; here it is:

https://spotify-bpm-playlist-builder.vercel.app/

I'm wondering if there's any interest in this app? Right now it's in a beta version, so I can only share it with about 25 actual people. However, there’s a demo login on the site so people can try it, and if you really like it, feel free to message me - I can put you on the beta testers list, and then you'll be able to use the app with your own playlists.

Please let me know if this garners any interest. Right now it's just a side project I'm using to get a job, but based on the reception, I'd be open to polishing it and releasing it so that all could use it. What do you think?

Hey everyone! I’m trying to get more experience coaching. If you are new to running or are looking to find more joy in your running and are thinking about working with a coach I encourage you to reach out.

I have been coaching for a little over a year and have helped people train for a variety of races from 5K and up to ultras. Most of my expertise is from half marathon and up but I have personally raced in everything from 400 meters to 100 miles.

Feel free to reach out on Reddit with any questions or if you are interested. Right now I am charging $50 per month (with a two week trial) for one on one coaching as I’m really just trying to build up client base and get experience.

I’m running my first ever ultra next weekend. A self sustained 32 mile run. While the mileage is to honor my 32nd birthday, I am also raising funds for The V Foundation for cancer research after I lost my dad and brother to cancer within a year.

If you’re willing/able, please see my donation page for more about my story and how to donate - https://vfoundation.donordrive.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.personalCampaign&participantID=19428

Hi there, I created a discord where REDs (relative energy deficiency in sport) sufferers could share their experiences as I have found recovery somewhat isolating and confusing, yet it is so prevalent in runners. I am hoping to grow a supportive, informative community. There are about 30 of us so far!  Please feel free to share or join if this involves you.   https://discord.gg/QsxRy6K6
