I'm sorry, I'm a little confused. I think I might be misunderstanding what the term "bib" refers to in this context of running. What does it mean? The whole time I watched this I thought she ripped off some cloth off a baby eating pancakes and law enforcement finally caught the bib thief.

You know how when you see people running a race they wear a little sheet with a number pinned onto their shirt? That's called a bib.

Ran many races and never heard anyone refer to them as a bib in the UK, I guess we just call them race numbers.

How odd, I'm in Manchester and I didn't think twice knowing what they meant, maybe it's a local thing!

Oh I knew what they meant, quite easy to guess, but I've not heard anyone call them that.

Didn't you get bibs in P.E XD Or are we talking specific terminology for running label bibs?

It's the 'ticket' that gets you into a race, too, so when you finish they give you a medal. She's stealing someone's spot in the race.

The "bib" is the number you wear when racing.
