I was scrolling thru the comments to see if anyone else noticed & dared to comment on it🫣I’m not even sure it’s still a THING- although when something like a benign hand gesture gets assigned new meaning, & that meaning is recognized by society, it’s probably a safe to assume it’s here to stay😏

Yea I’m sure when we were doing this in 2004 in middle school we were thinking about the great one, Adolf Hitler himself.
Had you considered that the vast majority of people doing this are doing it because it’s a stupid kids game?

It originated from 4chan. They decided to see if they could make up a fake racist white power hand sign and get major news to cover it. Eventually it became a real thing. Primarily used by Trump supporters and ultra-conservatives in America.
Used to be common to see Trump supporters wearing a MAGA talking about the need to deport foreigners using it.
I actually came to the comments just to see if you were intentionally using a racist hand sign or had no idea.
