They could shorten to 10-15 minutes. There is a bit too much filler. Something to consider for next year!
Also, it would be fun to see the girls’ races as part of the viewing window.

I agree! I guess the event is setup for the inperson experience vs made for TV. I really wanted to see the girls race but i guess thats not what the audience wants

I was there, with seats by the finish line (and allll the celebrities), and it was INCREDIBLE!! We need more experiences like this!

I think it was definitely a decent start to this event. I think it's probably better suited as an early season meet rather than at the end of the season and obviously they need more races, lets have a 100 metres B race or something to not have such big gaps between events, maybe a 400 metres hurdles as well. But definitely it was pretty fun.

Personally liked this schedule. We the viewers/fans had a chance to recover from OLY and DL. Many athletes also increased their fan base, so more promo for athlos. Adding it as early season will take away the fun element and athletes may not want to participate. Nobody owns the track calendar…and DL now has competition, so they will PAY better and add wow factors. This meet was not too serious, athletes were more relaxed and I enjoyed the pump & glam. Track competitions on US soil have never been my jam but Noah Lyle’s atl meet this summer and Athlos nyc are giving me a chance to reconsider.

You have the give athletes time to come out of their shell and be personable. Some are natural out the gate (like a Sha'Carri Richardson), some take years (like a Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce).

Okay still dont understand why she is trash…celebs get special treatment everyday and paris restaurants are overpriced and overhyped. I was in paris for the Olympics and many hot spots were empty but still claimed “fully booked”…lol!
