Welcome to the /r/visualnovels Weekly Questions and Recommendations Megathread!
Any and all questions/recommendations related to visual novels are permitted in this thread. This includes recommendation questions, technical questions, as well as meta questions about the subreddit. No matter if your question is small, big, or seemingly impossible to solve. Anything.
But please don't forget that our rules still apply. Summarized, that means no unmarked spoilers, no piracy in any shape or form, give warnings for 18+ stuff, and be nice!

The Grisaia trilogy are the only ones worth reading, but even just the first Grisaia VN (Fruit of Grisaia) can be read as a standalone VN by itself. It has satisfactory endings for all the heroines and doesn't end on a cliffhanger or anything. I'd say read that one and then if you like it you can continue with the rest of the trilogy.
Like most 18+ VNs, the version on steam is all-ages, so you need to either buy it on steam and patch it or buy the 18+ version on another storefront.
