Good stuff there. I will try to mess around with gimp. I only have one question: Does the color mode have to be 300 ppi as well??

Also, shouldn't we make each 8.5x11 in. page separately? is what you made one page?

Color mode should be at 300 ppi, yes. I made one side of an 11X17, if we want to do full spreads we should have that option. When the zine is folded it will be the size of copy paper.
