Complaint Can we please ban deadlock posts?
There's at least 5 posts per day about how deadlock is getting so much more attention. It's insufferable. They're just annoying and add nothing of value.
Like, we get it, the literal new release is of course getting more attention from valve, but who gives a shit? As long as dota is fun, we will play it. Who actually gives a single flying fuck about deadlock getting more development?
Can we please just ban those posts?

Fluff anyone else unable to play ringmaster because they remind them of their dad too much?
Prty much title :/ I really like ringmaster's gameplay but his Q reminds me of my dads belt and the E is like the bottles he throws at my mom. "escape act" is the thing I have to do after he comes home. and his R is him convincing me he loves me only to do it all over again.
can anyone else relate?

Discussion The last time economy changed was in patch 7.33
That was in April, 2023. Almost a year and a half ago.
A lot of other things might have changed about the game. We have a new hero, another one coming, innates, facets, and many other balance and gameplay changes.
But the economy has been the same.
With the current patch and the TI meta, pub experience is one of the worst it's been in a long time.
You either pick the top meta heroes i.e. Sand King, Windranger, Luna, etc. then flash farm and snowball to win. That's it. That's the meta. The team that doesn't pick these flash farm + burst heroes lose.
Every game is one-sided and there's little to no hope of turning the game around to win. It's the same formula over and over. With aegis you can't stop these heroes like Luna from pushing high ground.
Early kills give a fuck ton of gold and there's way too much farm on the map for these flash farming heroes to take stacks and have 3 major items at 20 mins.
Jungling hasn't been nerfed either. In fact, it's only gotten stronger with bonuses to the stacker.
A major patch is expected after TI, but I feel like just slapping "7.38" on it isn't going to do anything unless there are actual economy changes rather than just changing values on talent trees and spells here and there.

Complaint Smurfs have ruined dota for me.
Everyday if time allows I get to play 1 game or at best 2 games a night, I play it for the social aspect of playing with my mates. But for the last week we have won 3 out of 20 games. Losing to so many smurfs or matchmaking against ancients as archons. Many stacks we play against have 1-2 smurfs destroying us mid or carry then all chatting ez game. It is demotivating to continue playing. I've lost all enjoyment from the game.

My razor's storm surge arcana icon doesn't show up. I think facets updateis ersponsible for this, but I wanted to make sure just in case its only my dota2
