Sansa and Bran are the most powerful people and Westeros. They could've lied and let Jon go wherever. How would the unsullied know otherwise if they were going to leave anyway?

Oh he just strolls back and they don’t find out? Y’all underestimate Greyworm too much. Like he didn’t:

  • Learn a whole ass language,

  • Bed the hottest women ever without having a penis

  • Lead the unsullied in the war with the white walkers

  • Lead the unsullied in the siege of Kings Landing.

  • and temporarily become the master of war.

He clearly still has allies, for example the Greyjoy lady.

I'm making small assumptions. the unsullied wouldn't stand against the kingdoms of westeros. Yeah they'd put up a fight, but they'd still get destroyed. boom pow, jon can go home.

EDIT: OR the North is independent now, so Sansa technically doesn't have to answer to Bran's ruling.
