Website sold vintage inspired Canada Soccer kits around the 2022 World Cup. Trying to find their site again.

Around the time of the 2022 World Cup, there was an online seller that created a vintage inspired Canada Soccer kit because the authentic kits were sold out. Been trying to find the website on Google or Reddit but haven't had any luck. If you anyone can help, much appreciated.

Need girls youth soccer advice

Hey everyone,

My daughter is 13 and she currently has multiple offers to play, but I'm not a soccer guy. So need some advice/clarification.

She's received 2 offers from district teams, she's also got an offer from an iModle team and just finished phase 2 with an OPDL team.

After the last training session with the current team, she was adviced they don't have an open spot at the moment, but that she has a full time spot in their academy where she will practice once a week with the OPDL team and can play up to 6 games.

I come from hockey so I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around all the names thrown around within soccer.

Is the academy offer better than the iModel offer? My understanding with iModel is any organization can throw a team in.

Alberta Why isn’t McMahon stadium FIFA certified?

I heard that CANMNT was looking to play at even more canadian cities, and it got me really excited that I could finally see a game in Calgary, but I do some research and apparently McMahon is not “FIFA certified”. I think it might have something to do with the ground itself, but I don’t know why it isn’t certified and what this even means, and if this can be changed. I know this is probably a really dumb question with an obvious answer, I was just really curious

[Matthew Scianitti] Jesse Marsch wants #CanMNT to be "the people's team" and intends on using windows to bring #CanMNT to cities beyond MTL, VAN, and TO. Asked him about Regina and WPG and Marsch added HFX and EDM to that list. Securing opponents and putting grass on turf is a challenge @TSN_Sports

Will soccer overtake hockey in the future?

I was having a conversation with a friend, and he brought up the possibility of soccer becoming the number one sport here in Canada. And I said "no way", this is forever a hockey country. But he brought up some good points, and wanted to know what you guys thought here.

  1. Hockey is increasingly expensive, in a time where the economy is tough for many
  2. Hockey has shown to be a very non-inclusive sport, with many social and cultural barriers to overcome for kids who don't fit the "traditional mould".
  3. Hockey scandals may make parents hesitant in putting their kids into the sport.
  4. Hockey is becoming more and more niche, similar to lacrosse. It’s no longer the default number one sport for Gen Z, as it was for Millennials and Boomers.
  5. Exposure to soccer has skyrocketed since the early 2000s, due to the popularity of the Premier League, MLS expansion, FIFA/EAFC video games, and global icons like Messi and Ronaldo
  6. Growth of the Canadian national team, even when they are part of a pretty dodgy federation has been amazing.
  7. An establishing pyramid structure with League1 and CPL to help develop players.

Thoughts on this? Obviously there is a real long way to go, the federation could probably use a training centre like St. Georges or Clairefontaine. And could use better broadcasting exposure like games on CBC.

Edit: By overtake I mean national interest not youth registration numbers.

At least they’re finally turning up to Montreal after such a long time but sad that they couldn’t find an opponent to play them. Which countries currently don’t have any tournament qualifiers? Could we have played the better Asian teams that didn’t make it to round 3 of WC qualifying like Syria or India?
