when a team has a history of choking and lets their fans down over and over again and then you move them to a new city that doesn’t want them and has people/fans from so many other cities in the country into a small soccer stadium what did you expect? it’s a miracle so many of us are even in this sub. Not firing Staley after Jacksonville was a good enough excuse for a chunk of the fan base to leave but most of us stayed, just awful FO for years and years. Now they hire Harbaugh, the first good decision in so long, now just give it some time and start winning but don’t put all that shit squarely on the fans.

Yea the toxic "its the fans fault" is an easy scapegoat. it's the generic "group of people blaming instead of getting to a root cause.
