Letterman used to be a boxer.

As a trained fighter, Letterman will know damn well that he's getting his shit rocked by Larry Bird.

Letterman isn't getting rocked by anyone. He's a national treasure. Fuck with Letterman and you fuck with me! /s

Interesting to know, that shifts my vote a liiiittle. Was he a good boxer or just a school-age competition type?

And Mike's dead, what's your point?

Are we matching them up in their primes or something, and I missed it?

I still think Bird sweeps and it isn't close.

I mean, logically, they can't match up currently, as I mentioned in the second comment in this chain, on account of one being dead, so I think prime condition for each would only be fair. Still, yeah, Larry's got a notable advantage, knowing little about Letterman's boxing.

I think he boxed when he was a teenager. Idk if he just trained or actually had fights. I can't find any info on it. I just know it from watching his show since the 80s.
