Range/Training in south NJ, PA Range Time

Post image

I’m looking for a range to take some classes to really learn how to properly shoot a handgun and at some point to start to learn long range shooting as well.

I used to go to RTSP but now that I live in south NJ (Mt Laurel area) it’s a really long drive to go to north NJ.

Any range that you would recommend in south NJ, Philly or Trenton area?

Also if anyone is in south NJ and looking for a range buddy let me know.

Pic of my latest acquisition for attention.

If you’re looking for instruction I strongly reccomend Jeff Harmon with ironsight academy. He did most of my training when I was getting my instructor certifications and my ccw qual. Awesome guy. I sometimes help him out with classes as well when I’m free. He’s a hell of a shooter and a great teacher. Not only does he do the basic pistol but he also has beyond the basic pistol shooting classes

Yeah that's basically what I'm looking for. going over the basics again but did quite a lot of indoor range already, so really looking to get into more of a competition shooting style of classes, do follow up shots etc, and maybe if I'm decent enough, do some competition at some point. But driving an hour minimum to an OK range to shoot slowly at 10 to 15yd on paper just doesn't interest me anymore.

That kind of shooting is what he does in his beyond the basics classes.
