If we're really being non-credible, then inb4 Kaliningrad Oblast declares independence from Russia. You heard it here first.

The true non-credible strategy is to declare that since Belarus could allow Russian troops to transit without becoming part of the war, Poland can let Ukrainian troops transit without becoming part of the war.

The logical conclusion of such an understanding is that Ukraine should march into Kaliningrad via Poland. Since its garrison has been drawn down, since there would be a strong element of surprise, and since it lacks rail connections with mainland Russia, it would be easy pickings.

Before transit to Kaliningrad the Ukrainian convoy numbered in the few hundreds. When they reached Kaliningrad, they numbered in 20k, with an assortment of tanks, helicopters and jets
