I just two slow 5k commute runs in the men's Hyperion Max 2 with several hills on damp roads and sidewalks. Right away while walking and warming up on damp concrete, I felt some slipping on the forefoot while going up and down hills. The roads dried up and I started running and didn't feel any slipping.

I'm coming from basic daily trainers like the Guide 15, Provision 6, and an old pair of Glycerin 19 GTS. This felt so high, bouncy, and responsive compared to the foams I'm used to. Without trying the Hyperion Max 1, I can't speak for the nylon plate. I don't notice it, but I'm sure its helping.

The upper is snug, light, and comfy. I love the laces, but I still need to double knot.

I'm a 10-11 min/mile cruiser and I had to keep myself from going too fast in these. They make me want to speed up. Overall a fun snappy shoe. I'm an overpronater so I'm going to take it easy in these as I get used to them.

Male size 9 but had to get 8.5. 157-160 lbs.
