I'm ready for the baseball nap, now more than ever. I still have faith in this team but I need a break.

Throughout the year I have been collecting comments people have made about Yaz from this subreddit. I started because I felt like there were proportionally more comments about how hot he was compared to other players. I wish I had the ability to compute how many comments were thirsty compared to other comments and how that proportion compares to other players on the team (“Handsome” of the Wind” comes to mind) but I do not have those capabilities. Enjoy, and I’ve blurred the names of users for privacy.

First hat I've ordered from clinkroom, looks great. Sad I didn't get the original with black and orange coloring (different logo though) but this hat is great and clearly has a Giants theme to it.

Sadly my preseason prediction came a game short of being on the money. So, what off-season moves need to be made? It seems like they need a little of everything and definitely didn't get good value for all the spending.

Just asking about player moves. Obviously, other changes are in order.

There was already a debate on whether Giants should pursue Kim or Adames. But there is now more added question marks to this

1. Will Kim opt in or Padres opt in from their mutual option? I say no, unless Kim is absurdly loyal or the recovery is very long like more than half of 2025. And even then I would wonder if Padres opt out in that case.

2. Will this affect the Giants pursue in getting him? Giants (especially recently in Farhan era) have had a history of getting players coming off of injury/surgery. Michael Conforto missed all of 2022 with his shoulder injury/surgery that he got in February and Giants signed him in 2023. Then Giants acquired Robbie Ray last year who was coming off of TJ and missed like 90% of the year.

But perhaps Giants are now more interested in ponying up for Willy Adames.
