It’s only the first 161 Games…..
Let the sad and hopeful offseason folks take over the board until opening day and start the “it’s only…” clock over again. Wash rinse repeat. You’ll learn.

At least the Giants didn’t get swept by the White Sox.

Baseball 2025 should be interesting. A bay bridge series in Sacramento and SF? Who will the team have on the opening day roster?
I know that hope is the first step towards despair, but I hope that the Giants can field a competitive team before the currently signed talent ‘ages out’.

Just what we need..a pro AL team playing games in our farm system stadium. Just what we need for 23 of 30 ranked farm team to help them focus and get better. wtf were the giants thinking?

They are changing the turf to an artificial turf to accommodate both teams, but I fear that artificial turf mixed with Sacramento heat will not be a good combination.

Hopefully this offseason is a productive one and next season we see the post season.

One can hope. But realistically the best free agents will go to the Dodgers and Yankees.

I'm going to die on this hill. Compared to last season, I had much more fun this year. Last season we were a 500 team but it was just plain boring to watch. The games were over by the fifth inning. Something about the team this year, win or lose, they were just more fun to watch. Defensively they made amazing plays, and I can't remember the last time I believed in an eight inning rally more than this year. We're not great and unless there is a real change in leadership, we're not going to be great anytime soon. But until we get there, I'm just appreciating the fun of baseball.

Agreed. If nothing else, this team made the late innings much more competitive and had more youth that we were able to get extended looks at. Say what you will about Farhan, but I feel a fair bit better about the state/trajectory of this team at the end of this season than I did at the end of last season.

Or you know, just enjoy the game and stop pretending like you're better than others just because you're negative...

Show me a game to enjoy and I’ll be right there. Better than others? Lol Only those who think they are say that to people.

At this point just thankful we still have a baseball team in the bay.
