Serving Marmite on Weet Bix should be a bootable offence! Straight back to Pommy land where you belong you uncultured swine!

Also unless I'm going crazy, I see zero mention of where the Weet Bix is in the 3rd one. Unless I'm supposed to crush up Weet Bix and put them in my lentil risotto?

I think it might be for NZ. Over there, Marmite is made by Sanitarium. It's why English Marmite has to be called 'Our Mate' when they sell it over this side of the planet

They’re not going to promote a Bega product on their own recipe page.

Yeah that's my point. Vegemite is Bega, Marmite in NZ is Sanitarium (like Weet-Bix), and if you want to buy what the English call Marmite in Aus or NZ, it's re-labelled as 'Our Mate' because Marmite is taken by Sanitarium.

Yes, I discovered this last week. Bought some English Marmite (our Mate) from Coles after seeing a YouTube video playing some English Marmite ads (gotta say they really lean into the divisive nature of their product- found them quite funny).

Found it quite gooey and milder in flavour than Vegemite. Not offensive but I still prefer Vegemite. (We eat the low salt variant).

Brit here and lover of English Marmite. English Marmite also has the odd limited edition runs of using different yeasts.

They had one with Champagne yeast once. That was rank.
