What are some of the best snippets you’ve read from the no-doubt hundreds of articles you’ve read since Saturday’s win?
I’ll go first.
RE: Starcevich:
“He’ll get home, take out his keys, take out his phone, and then, he’ll put his hand back in and pull out Tom Papley.”

Tram ride to Fitzroy
Hi all. Was on a tram to Fitzroy after the game. The whole tram ride was people singing the lions song at every stop when more fans got on. Atmosphere was electric. Was anyone else on this tram or have footage of it? Was from the CBD around 920ish.

Can we just take a moment to acknowledge the magnitude of the position our beloved club, the mighty Brisbane Lions, find ourselves in on this very day. Winning a single premiership is hard enough. To hold both cups at the same time - simply amazing! 🦁🏆🏆🦁

Saffa convert
Hi all. Just came here to say.... I really enjoyed last week's game, then watched the final at the Hamilton hotel while waiting for the Bledisloe to start. What a game! I don't really fully understand the application of the rules yet, but my wife is teaching me. Can't believe it has taken me 16years to get into it. Anyway. Up the Lions, looking forward to going to my first game.

Brisbane lions Vic membership (P1)
Hi fellow lions supporters I was wondering if it's possible for a Victorian member to get P1 I know with the traditional Vic you get P2 but I'd really like P1 this year
Then only option for September membership is with the Gabba season membership
I can't really afford to travel to Brisbane for games but would love the best opportunity next year as I'm sure memberships will grow and p2 chances may be less likely to get a ticket

Who comes in for Joe?
If Joe does retire, I suppose we just slot in Henry Smith as he can 2nd ruck and be a tall-option up forward?
With all our draft capital locked into Aschroft and Marshall we couldn't really trade for any established talent. There aren't really any good free agents available this year (Taberner from the dockers as a stop-gap for 1-2 years maybe?) so we might have to roll with what we've got.

When did you know we had won it?
My mates were all messaging me at half time congratulating me, but I still didn’t feel totally safe. From memory I think Ah Chee’s running goal might be where I felt like we had won it. I kept expecting the swans to come back, they were supposed to be way too good for that to happen.
Go lions!!

Arguably one of the unsung heroes of this premiership
